The Echeverría Dental Clinic introduces new clear INVISALIGN orthodontics.

Our clinic has spent three years providing its patients with clear orthodontics, or Invisalign. The Invisalign treatment consists in a series of practically invisible and removable aligners which are changed every two weeks for a new set of aligners. Each of the aligners is made specifically for your teeth, and for your teeth only. As you change aligners, your teeth will start to move, bit by bit, week by week, until they are straight and in the final position as prescribed by the dentist.

This orthodontic technique, as well as its self-evident cosmetic effect, is particularly useful in the adult patient suffering from periodontal disease. Given that this type of patient must maintain rigorous control of his or her oral hygiene, Invisalign provides additional benefits vis-à-vis conventional orthodontics in that it consists of removable orthodontics. To this effect, the patient removes the orthodontics during meals and subsequently brushes his or her teeth easily and comfortably prior to once again inserting the aligners.

Thanks to this revolutionary system of clear orthodontics there are many patients who have decided to bring their teeth back to their ideal position as well as restoring their aesthetic, their health and their function.

Frequently asked questions

Is there any age limit for orthodontics?
There is no type of age limit, always providing the state of dental and gingival health allows us to perform the treatment. To perform orthodontic treatment, the state of periodontal health must be excellent and therefore often prior to beginning orthodontic treatment preliminary periodontal treatment is required. On the other hand, neither may the patient present any type of caries lesion, any of which must be treated prior to proceeding with orthodontic treatment.
